DAY 3 ~ SUNDAY

VACATION HOME DAY 1 DAY 2 DAY 4 DAY 5 SOUVENIERS

Sunday after breakfast (a croissant from the French bistro at Epcot the previous day), my parents, Doug and I headed out early and took the Monorail from Epcot to Magic Kingdom. So far we had great weather sunny in the 70s. Sunday morning started out rainy, but it was much better than the weather back in Illinois snow and ice storms! Doug and I started out on Space Mountain, which is a pretty darn good roller coaster for being inside and being built so long ago! While Doug and my dad went to get something to eat, my mom and I went to the Carousel of Progress. Then we joined up again and the guys and Doug and I went on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (he's the only one who'd go on coasters with me) before we all met up with the rest of our group and went on to The Haunted Mansion.

All of us girls had a rendezvous with Cinderella at Cinderella's Castle for Lunch at the Royal Table and the guys went to ESPN Zone at Epcot to watch the Bears play and win the divisional playoffs. After complimentary pictures with Cinderella, we had lunch (Diet Coke, salad and fruit tray, chicken penne pasta, and blueberry buckle for dessert) in the private restaurant in the middle of the castle where several of the well-known Disney princesses came around to sign autographs. After lunch, all of the girls went on the famous It's A Small World. My mom and I took off after that and did the rides I wanted to get done The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, Jungle Tour, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse before meeting up with everyone else at Epcot again. We wandered through Innoventions East before dinner (another good mixed drink, salad, prime rib with baked potato, and chocolate cake for dessert) at La Celliar Steakhouse in Canada (World Showcase). After dinner, we all stuck around and watched the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth laser and fireworks display.

Sunday night was Magic Kingdom's night for Extra Magic Hours open until 1:00 AM! So the group headed back to Magic Kingdom on the Monorail. Once again, my mom and I split off from the group go on Peter Pan's Flight and see Mickey's Philarmagic 3-D show. We met up with everyone else to go on Pirates of The Caribbean before heading back to the resort for the night.
