Customer Reviews
This is one of the most boring platformers I have ever played
To be quick, the graphics were pretty good, especially for the cutscene pictures.
The sounds and music were just a mess.
It took me forever to figure out what exactly I was supposed to do. Apparently, you are supposed to drop beanbags or whatever they could be on animals to make them move. The stages were incredibly boring and had very repetitive backgrounds and were pretty lame in design.
The object is to just keep walking right. There are 3 full levels of gameplay, but it seemed like 5. You play through Barbie's dreams that she explains before she falls asleep. Everything moves very slowly and Barbie is so tall, she gets hit by everything. After a while, I switched to Gamegenie and didn't even feel bad cheating. This is one of those games that may have actually been designed for a little girl and from that perspective, I guess it's OK. Every girl I have ever showed this game to could not believe that this was even made.
The bottom-line, I felt like I completely wasted my time by playing this. But, I am one game closer to having every NES game available.
great for a little girl
As a child I loved this game. This is mostly for younger children. It is an adventure game. It's about Barbie and her adventures through a toy store. All I can remember is the beach balls that would kill me. Great memories. Your little kid will love it.
~The Gamer's Disapointment~
This game is really bad and has terrible graphics. While the adventure half of the game isn't that bad, the rest is ALL downhill............Go play THE SIMS if you want a good game!
