Oh, lookee! It's one of my own designs...
I came up with it as an antidote to all the Americana designs available out there.










I wrote the little poem some years ago, then later decided to do it as a sampler. 
I used blends of two colors for the fur.









And this one was for a Father's Day window display at a friend's store...













This was a custom order for ? through the above mentioned friend. This hannuka banner measures 4-11/16"x7-7/8" (including the self-fringe but not the gold cord hanger). It was worked on 18-count ivory aida cloth and has a satin backing.





Another custom order, for Lynn Comiskey, who will gift her nieces

with these bookmarks this Christmas.



All seven pieces above were captured by putting them directly into the scanner (not sure why there's shading on the bookmarks -- it wasn't there when I scanned them).

DMC Lists and Conversions

This list of DMC color numbers with their corresponding names was a handy reference when referring to DMC Embroidery Floss colors.

However, it no longer seems to be available. Cyberstitchers offers a conversion list on their site.









According to Scarlet Quince: "It has been brought to our attention that DMC has discontinued a few colors in the UK.  These colors are still available in the United States; we're not sure about the rest of the world or where DMC is going with this. The good news is that they are colors that were very close to other colors. If you run into this and are unable to find one of these colors, here are the replacements:"
