Brian and Robert

Debuting just within the last 4 years (1998), this song goes out to two special people to Phish. The first is Brian Eno, the famous musician, and also to Robert Fripp, the leader of King Crimson. This song was first played on June 30, 1998, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The lyrics were formed by both Trey and Tom. This is another ballad that I enjoy listening to whenever I get a free chance.
This song, like a good number of Phish's other songs, has not seen any type of alteration in its form. It was fairly popular in 1998, then it faded in 1999. It become very D.L. in 2000 as the "Big Break" came to be. If you'd like to hear this song without bootlegging, go buy "Story of the Ghost."

If you're just staring at your walls
Observing echoing footfalls
From tennants wandering distant halls
Than this one is for you

All alone the life you lead
A silent diner where you feed
You bow your head pretend to read
Then this one if for you

If children playing all around
To you is noise, not pleasant sound
And you'd be lost on the playground
Then this one is for you

Slip past strangers in the street
There's no one that you care to meet
Longing for your TV seat
Then this one is for you

Then this one is for you

If you're just staring at your walls
Then this one is for you
