The Guardsmen armor is composed of ceramic and metal plates fitted into padded armor for the greatest mobility. The suit was originally designed for bodyguards assigned to important people. The suit was given a mega damage cape, so that in the event of an attack, the cape could be used to cover their unshielded client. Ironically, do to the mobility and the ability to hide weapons under the cloak, it has become a favorite of assassins. Knights, swordsmen, and pirates have also taken a liking to the armor do to the stylish design. The armor features thermo imaging (2000 feet or 610 meters ), passive nightvision, laser distancing (6000 feet or1830 meters), H.U.D., a short range radio, and a headjack to interface with computers.(displayed on HUD). A metal detector has also been built into the left glove. Bodyguards use it to search rooms and people for any object that may harm their client. Assassins and other criminals have found it useful for searching behind walls for hidden rooms and safes. In case of an emergency, the Guardsmen is also fitted with light fore arm weapons to insure that the owner is never unarmed. (pictured with the RI-H7 double bladed plasma spear)
Weight: 18 pounds (8.1 kg) for the suit itself. The cloak adds another 6 pounds (2.7 kg)
Mobility: Good mobility, -5% prowl, no other penalties. While wearing the cape, player characters are +10% to concealment.
