I saw this concept on someone's homepage, unfortunately
I don't remember who's it was to give them credit.  If you know, please email me.  If you don't know what this
concept is, it is simply making 1 M.D. equal to 10 S.d.c. (1 md = 10 sdc).  I have found this to be a more realistic
system of damage, and allows characters with only sdc capability to affect, although limited, mdc creatures.
Example: The player characters are in a bar, or other establishment that requires weapons to be checked at the door.  During the stay, a Titan Juicer (Juicer Uprising™ page 32) becomes upset with the player characters.  The juicer has a MD of 20, and assuming he is a comparitivly weak juicer (ps of 27), he does 3D6 MD per punch!  Even assuming the characters are wearing body armor, there is no way for them to defend them selves.  The puny sdc punches and kicks hardly stun the juicer at all(MDC of 20, or 2000 SDC).
