Miscellaneous Interview with Loic Caperan, VP of Fiat Some days ago
companies Autocommerce and Avto Triglav hosted eminent visitors from
Italy. For the first time dr. Loic Caperan, vicepresident of the Board of
Directors, responsible for marketing and sales visited Slovenia.
Businessmen discussed future strategy and pricing policy, while we were
interested mainly how the second man at Fiat comments Slovenian auto
market and position of Fiat globally (by B.Sambolec).
Lancia Dialogos presents future The Italian Lancia
announced its cars of the future with the prototype Dialogos. The name
emphasises the dialogue between man and machine. This product can be
considered as a biodynamic study of a prestigious car for the next
millennium. Its interior is characterised as a living room, enabling
driving without stress. Behind a nicely styled outlook there are numerous
technical novelties, developed at Fiat Auto. So Dialogos is not only
announcement of more aggressive presence of Lancia but the proof that

Its power under my control In April I visited COSMOS
Ljubljana and I took Alfa 156 for a test ride. Overall impression: good
(not excellent), enjoyable, powerful car.

developed lower high class car, can not hide that it has been developed
from Alfa 156, the European Car of the year 1998.

car in the beginning of 1999. In Italy, the price of the least expensive
Alfa 166 2.0 TS is 59,5 million ITL (59.500 DEM) and the most expensive
166 3.0 V6 24V 76 million ITL (76.000 DEM) (BMW 520i costs 68 million ITL,
68.000 DEM, Mercedes-Benz E200 costs 68 million ITL, 68.000
DEM).
