Minnie
Minnie is no longer with us.  She escaped from her outdoor play pen on July 31, 2002.  She was a chocolate and rust.  She had just turned 3 years old a week before.  She was excellent at escaping.  I chased her all over the neighborhood on several occassions.  Unfortunatly, no one was home at the time of this escape.  So she was long gone when we got home.  We love her and miss her very much.  We hope she found someone loving and kind to take her in.
Some advice if your min pin goes outside at any time:
Make sure they have up to date information on their tags; such as name, address, phone number, ect.

Triple check their pen for any possible excape route.          They are excellent escape artists.  They can get out of        places that you wouldn't believe possible.  Check for          possible climbing, crawling, squeezing, chewing,               digging, ect. places.  My male min pin once climbed a fence up to 2' high.

Make sure they are wearing a sturdy collar and leash.  I      always found a choke chain to work well.  I was walking with them on leashes one day and they were wearing leather collars.  Spooky got so excited that he ran the length of the leash and then broke his collar right off.  Luckily he stopped long enough for me to grab him.

I would not advise just letting them run loose; even to use the bathroom.  But I'm no expert and you don't have to listen to any of my advice.
