River Wishes you a Very Merry Christmas Too!

"A Dober Christmas"

A little poem I composed for you to enjoy...hohoho!

Twas the night before Christmas and all thru the house,
Not a Creature was stirring, Not even a mouse!
The Doberkids were nestled all snug on their beds,
with visions of cookie treats,
dancing in their sweet little heads!

And Momma and Pappa were asleep in their beds,
all settled down for a good nights rest!
When deep in the night,
One Doberkid, called "little guy" awoke,
and tiptoed to the frontroom,
without waking up the folk!

And all to his amazing eyes he did see,
Bunches of presents, all under the Tree!
His mind went a whirling, and he thought,
Golly Gee, Mom and Dad think Im great,
and got "all" this "for me"!

He proceeded to run to the presents,
with glee, that were carefully placed under the tree,
and he opened each one,
Thinking "Wow", Whoopie, Gee!!!!

All this hard work, soon tired "little guy" out,
so he happily layed down
amongst all his litter scattered about!

Morning soon came and Mom and Dad awoke,
And came to the tree,
with shock in their eyes,
so surprised, not a word they spoke,
at the site they did see!

"Little guy" happily asleep,
amongst all the "open" presents under the Tree!

He worked in a carpenter shop until he was thirty.

He never had a family or owned a house.
He didn't go to college.
He had no credentials but himself...
Ninteen centuries have come and gone,
and today,He is the central figure of all human race.
All the armies that ever marched,
and all the navies that ever sailed,
all the parlimants that ever sat,
and all the kings that ever reigned
have not affected the life of man
on earth as much as that...
One Solitary Life.
