MORE FAMILY PICTURES

This picture on the left is of my older sister, Virginia and myself. It was taken in Hawaii prior to the bombing of Pearl Harbor. That is me (Robbie) on the left.

The right photo is a picture of my dear, departed Mama, Connie; my daughter Kathy and myself. It was taken a few years ago before I let my hair go natural. I cut my hair this year (after 40 years of long hair) and have a lot more gray hair, these days.

This picture I believe was taken in the 1930's of my Father, Bob Acheson and his two sisters Isabel and Lillian. The plane I believe was an old Pursuit or Attack Plane

This is a picture of a painting of my cousin Nancy. It was made in Hollywood, Califronia when she was starting to be a starlet. But she decided to get married instead and never went on to pursue an acting career. It's to bad because she would have made a great actress but she is still a very special and sweet person.

This is a picture taken during the 40's of four of the girl cousins. Begining (left to right) myself, Cousin Nancy (above), my sister, Virginia and Cousin Patsy Woodard. Can you believe the faces that Patsy and I were making.

This is a picture of my sister, Virginia, when she graduated from High School. This was before she went to Nagoya, Japan to spent a year with my Father and helped him as the hostess for all his dinner parties and events. She is now a retired, but she was a Doctor of English and taught college for many years.

This is a very, very early photograph of Brooks Field, in San Antonio, Texas. It sure has grown over the years. It makes one wonder if they knew how big Brooks Air Force Base would actually grow to be?

This is a picture of one of the dearest, people in the whole wide world. It is also my good fortune that he is my cousin, Bill. He has given me a lot of support and encouragement in doing our genealogy for many years and continues to be a source of information, humor and joy. He has a wonderful wife, Dee. They have been married over 50 years and have four wonderful children. I will be putting Dee's picure here one day soon .

The sketch on the left is one I did of Bill to show my students in Drawing class how much fun it was to draw someone you really care about. I tried to put his happy personality in to the sketch and I've offered it here on the left for your comparison to the real Mr. Woodard.
