Letters from my Heart...Oceanrain
Isn't that enough, my Love?

My internal mirror tells me
an accurate truth,
perhaps it is not so accurate at all, I hope!

I look at you and I look at my self and see our youth traces starting to fade.
But sometimes when we are
as playful as kittens, I say,
"not bad for "old" fuddy duddies!"
And when I look at you,
so tall and handsome, still in blue-jeans,
stirring my heart, and stirring my senses,
I say,
"Not bad for the "not so young", ha!"

I enjoy seeing that blue lagoon
behind your glasses,
hiding your mischievous wonder.
I enjoy your smiles and
your heart-felt laughter,
the sound of your voice, not too slow,
not too fast,
giving me the feeling of being so right...

It is true that we wonder at times
what would it be
if we have found each other in another time,
when we were younger, when we didn't have so much baggage
to loose from our shoulders,
when we were more innocent,
less tarnished by the evil around us.

But we can't change the painting
of our past.
All we can do is to be grateful
for what we have now!
Be grateful for each hug, for each kiss,
and each tear erased by the other's hand.
Be grateful for each morning embrace,
and paintings of clouds and skies,
and sunsets walks,
walking side by side.
Isn't that enough, my Love?

Not at all, the future isn't written yet!
