I dedicate these lines to those that reach my hands
Without a single touch
With words without a sound.
You are so dear to me and so close
To my heart,
Yet you seem so far…
It seems the only thing we’re able to exchange
Are thoughts or some ideas
That bright our minds some days.
But weird as it seems
Those thoughts given as written words,
Become feelings so deep
‘cause feeling is rooted in our so human souls.
You are beloved friends
More alike to my heart
Than many that live near by.
They never care enough to give a little time,
To share words of encouragement or exchange a pure soft kiss,
Or to hug me when at times I’m lonely,
And I need some tenderness.
Because I’m grateful to God for giving me a chance
To meet you, my friends,
I understand that part of his plan
Was for us to learn how to treasure a real friend.
And you might not have touchable bodies,
Your hands could not feel the trembling in my hands
But you are very real to me,
And your friendship helps me to keep going
When days seem so blue and I feel like falling apart…
Oh I’m so grateful for all of you,
This is the reason for these lines,
