I actually started modeling in high school. I went to the nearest large city (and that was not all that big!) hired a photographer, shot pictures and sent them to a bunch of magazines and agencies in N.Y.C. Some said come see us when you are in town and some said give it up. After a few decent years and some of struggling to be a fashion model at barely 5'8" (which is considered short for models) and a not fashionable face, (I have always had pudgy cheeks), I ended up depressed, anorexic (trying to defeat my natural pudgy cheeks) and sick, so I decided to do what I had always wanted to do but was too scared to try...acting. I got healthy (Playboy appreciated some roundness!), started acting classes, and that was it, I had the bug! |
