Welcome to Memphis Digital Photography, my photo gallery website. This site contains digital images which I have taken in Memphis, Tennessee (as well as some from Japan, National Parks in the Western US and others which I will add from time to time) plus eventually links to some of my other photo sites. I am an editorial stock photographer who has been published by several national magazines in the States. I have recently relocated to Japan. All images on this site are Copyright 1999/2000/01, John Helwig. Most of the images on this site are available for licensing. They are posted on this site in either 320x240 or 160x120 size to allow for fast downloading. For photo buyers who are visiting this site, the images are also available in 1600x1200 size (captioned w/ Dsc####) or 1024x768 size (captioned w/ Mvc###), depending upon which Sony Mavica camera I used. You will pass next to a page explaining my copyright philosophy (most photographers who license their work have a similar philosophy) and then you will be asked to fill out a form to ENTER the photogallery site. I would also appreciate it if you would make comments about how to improve the site by signing the guest book before you exit. This site is hosted on Yahoo! and as such I am subjected to having a ad open up on each page as it opens. The ads will self-minimize in about 7 seconds, or can be minimized manually, if you can't wait for the ad to self-minimize.
