Good Pair or Parent

One of my oldest pair is my Original Blue snakeskin. It has given me lots and lots of fry. because of these i was able to observe this pair. One time while i was looking at them, i saw the pair showing an intense care on their fries. i noticed that they are alternating in checking and making sure that the new fries that is starting to swim (7th day) was able to go straight to them, so that it will not get lost and to make sure that the fry will stick to them and eat slime. If pair do show this kind of care, you will be sure that the fries will be in good condition and will have a good chance or surviving.
Discus, in my opinion is very intelligent. they also have feelings. if you don't take care of them, they will start behaving differently. like starting to eat eggs and fries. they will move fries from one place to another if they feel that the location of the said fry is not clean. like from a PVC breeding medium to a clean surface of sponge filter.
the only guarantee to have a good pair is to make sure that your water parameters are optimum. I don't use salt, anti-chlorine and r/o. Aged water is the best for me. 4-7 days with lots of aeration is okay.
