Janeway and Chakotay are the couple that were ment to be from episode one! the way they interacted and the little things the producers scripted to keep us all hoping make this couple one of the most wanted couples.
The producers knowing this have given us some great moments to hold on to, and even an episode dedicated 100% to this couple. (Resolutions) In this episode the couple are infected by a virus and after hours trying to find a cure the doctor has no other option but to send them to the planet they got it from inorder to keep them alive. whats more with all options used Tuvok is given command and told to leave them there, with all they need in way of surplies.
we watch as they get closer and try to start a life and just as all J/Cers thinl this is it Janeway tells Chakotay she cant redefine peramiters and Voyager returns with a cure to colect them. TYPICAL!!
We have still seen little things though like Chakotay giving gifts of a flower and a watch, and even their dinners together alone in his or her quarters. and even Chakotay admiting in not so many words he was jealous when Q turned up asking Janeway to mate with him.
