2000-01 Season:

  • Ranked 12th on the team with 19 points (5+14) in 66 games.
  • Tied for eighth on the team with six points (3+3), appearing in all 18 playoff games.
  • Was tied for fifth on the team in goals and tied for eighth with an even plus/minus rating.
  • Scored the Penguins only short-handed goal of the Playoffs in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Finals, May 15 at New Jersey.

2001-02 Season:

  • Set new career highs in goals (20), assists (29) and points (49).
  • Ranked third on the Penguins in goals, fourth in assists, fourth in points, second in power play goals (7), tied for second in power play points (16), third in shots (162) and tied for fourth in game-winning goals (3).
  • Set a career-high with four points (2+2), Nov. 13 at New Jersey. His first assist in that game was his 100th career point.
  • Played in his 300th career game Nov. 27 vs. New Jersey.
  • Notched his second career hat trick Jan. 17 at Calgary.
  • Recorded three points in three consecutive games- Jan. 21 vs. Philadelphia (2+1), including the game-winning goal; Jan. 23 vs. Tampa Bay (1+2); and Jan. 24 at the Islanders (1+2), including the game-winning goal in overtime.

2002-03 Season:

  • Recorded 25 points (9+16), appearing in only 27 games.
  • Suffered a fractured wrist Dec. 10 at Toronto and missed the last 55 games of the season.
  • Ranked fourth on the team in points, fifth in goals and fourth in assists.
  • Ranked third on the club with six power play goals, third with 11 power play assists, third with 17 power play points and tied for fifth with two game-winning goals.
