Hi my name is Cathy (Braveheart) Thornbury. I am part Cherokee/Blackfoot. I make and sell Native American crafts, and I do this to honor my ancestors and family. I am not a full blood, but am enough to say I am Native American..lol  I walk this path  because of my family and my beliefs.

I am from North Carolina. I now live in Kentucky with Coy-Dog (my mate) We love it here. These hills are sacred to us. We live on 11 acres and try do  everything in balance. We have our gardens for our fresh food, and raise chickens and rabbits for meat, and eggs.  As most of you know there is many things that are going on now that it only makes sense to grow your own and try to take care of the things you need at home if you can. As we try to do things in balance, we plant extra for our 4 legged and winged ones to have a little too. As if we could keep them from it..lol  We also have planted prairie gardens for the butterflies, birds and bees so there is plenty to eat for all.

November is  National American Indian Heritage Month.  It  should be a time of learning, and Honoring our Ancestors. Its time that everyone see the American Indains for how they really are ,not what history has told us.

From time to time I will be running across things that are inportant to me, and things that I think you may want to know. I will try to keep them posted here for you so keep in touch, also you may have news for me.  I will be adding links to pages that I think may be of interest  to you. If you have one let me know.

These are the End times and the people must know the truth, share what we have taught you. There can be no more secrets now if we are to survive as a thinking species through these times." "This," they say, "must be done because the dream of humanity can only be preserved through the combined efforts of all peoples, and the joining and merging of all cultures into a oneness." -- statement of the traditional Hopi Elders as told to Cho Qosh Auh Ho Oh, a Chumash/Yaqui/Maya Indian
