Mission Statement

Welcome to World War 2 in the Pacific! This site is dedicated tp keeping the Pacific war history alive. Through history, we may be able to learn from our mistakes. You can do lots of things here! If you’re a student, you can use the information I have to help you (feel free to e-mail me if you need help with a certain topic-I’ll try!).If you’re a history buff, check out the whole thing!!! Feel free to submit anything pertaining to the Pacific War, such as War Stories, special histories on specific things, or anything that interesting. If your searching for Service Records, I have created a page explicitly for that called “Finding Service Records”. Thanks for visiting World War 2 in the Pacific.

Dedicated to Carlos Smith

Recent Updates!

July 14, 2009-Well, the end of WW2PTO has come.Geocities is stopping their website hosting service in October of 2009 because of greed. It's been a great 10 years on the web, trying to educate everyone about the pacific war.I've noticed that attention for anything historical has waned over the last 4 years, so I have decided not to continue.I just wanted to thank everyone who participated in building the website, especially people in the MSNtv (Formally WebTV) community.WW2PTO may return someday. Finally, I want to thank you.Thank you for stopping by at least once in the last decade to check out all we've done.Thank you and bye!!!
