Diabetic Food Exchanges - Avoid this on the Atkins Diet
It's High Carbs - Avoid

This is to help those on the Atkins Diet who might be decieved.  Sometimes restaurants will list the Food Exchange.  Food Exchange is something like this:
3 Carbohydrate (CHO), 2.5 Fat, 3.5 Medium Fat Meat

Just because it says 3 Carbohydrate (CHO) that does not mean it has 3 carbs in it.  It actually has 45 carbs in it.  How?  The old Diabetic Food Exchange says a Starch/CHO is 15 grams of Carbohydrates.  3 Servings at 15 grams each is 45 grams.

Read it as follows

3 Servings of Carbohydrates
2.5 Servings of Fat
3.5 Servings of Medium Fat Meat.

My Low Carb FMover is following this example below but on a Low Carb Scale.  Compare the two charts.  You can see what I did to reduce carbohydrates below.  Why I did it?  I keep hearing people say there is NO Variety on Atkins Diet.  I also hear these Health Nuts keep saying all you eat is Meat and Cheese.  That's not so.  So I came up with my Low Carb Version of FMover
