GURPS Title Back to Mark's Eye

GURPS is published by and can trace its roots back to Melee and Wizard (two of Steve's more popular games for the old Metagaming company). It is one of the more commercially successful attempts at a genre-independent set of role-playing rules.

There are lots of Internet resources for GURPS including the official company site, a usenet newsgroup, mailing list, and FTP archive. In addition, mine is one of many personal web sites with a lot of unofficial GURPS material. Try the GURPS WebRing below for more links.

My current GURPS campaign is a Far-Future space campaign called the 4th Empire of Man. This is one area that should grow in the future as I convert more of my material to HTML.

GURPS contains an entire body of rules on the design of vehicles and such. Many folks love to design all sorts of vehicles from the ancient past to the far future and post them on the Internet. Once source is the GURPSnet mailing list's Vehicles of the Week which I've converted to HTML here and cross-indexed for easier access.
