SLOPE SOARING
Power Slope Scale
I designed this P40 as a sort of standoff scale sloper. It looks good in the air, and because it's made of EPP it also works well as a combat machine!!
This is a 60 inch slope racer I designed called the Radius. It is all composite. It uses either a SD7037 airfoil for light lift or an RG15 airfoil for heavier air. The wing is blue extruded foam, with carbon tow spars and glass and carbon layup. The fuselage is glass, carbon, and kevlar, very light and strong. Tail feathers are balsa, glass, and carbon. Llaunched off a bungee, it's a real blast!!

The radio is a Hitec Super Slim Rx, Three Hitec HS80MG Servos, and a 500 mah battery pack. All up weight is 26 ounces, and with ballast about 34 ounces. Really wails on a good heavy air day at the slope!!
Combat
The Radius
Slope combat at Parker Mountain. The mecca for Dynamic Soaring!! The pic shows my son Marc with his Zagi LE at the end of a mornings flying. Great day!! We met Joe Wurts up there flying DS with a friends 91/2 pound bomb!! Awesome!!
This is my Daves Aircraft Works P-51. Looks great  in the air and is a good combat airplane!!
