* Blood Bath
(March 28, 2004)

Bent over.
Brain numb.
Body numb.
Touch those toes!
Straighten those knees!
Bare skin ripped
And lashed,
And teeth gnashed.
Unending.
Unknowing.
Unfeeling.
Peeling panties off of
Bruised bloody flesh,
In the school bathroom.
No privacy
In the school bathroom.
Teacher dragged in by little girls.
Please don't tell on my Daddy.
She doesn't.
It's so hard
To sit.

* Stupid Stops Suicide
(March 28, 2004)

She can't.
No more.
He's threatened to use his guns
On her
And her family.
Well, why not use one on
Herself
Before he does?
Mommy?
Mommy!
Daddy!
He'll probably whip me.
Daddy!
Mommy's got your gun
And she went in the woods-
That way.

Waiting.

No shots, none that I remember.
Screams.
Mommy beat,
Like usual.
Now she hates me.

Ineptitude (March 29, 2004)

Rope.
I don't like rope.
Rope burns the skin.
Jump.
I can jump.
But not the rope.
Get over here and play with the others.
She can't do it.
Come on, just run in-
Like this.
See?
Cinder-ella
Go ahead.
Dressed in yel-la
You can do it.
Went upstairs
Loop Loop Loop Loop
She can't do it.
To kiss her fel-la
Loop Loop Loop Loop
Made a mistake-
Run.
Jump.
Crash.
I told you she couldn't do it.

* Newspaper Recycling
(March 28, 2004)

Throw up.
Sick every morning.
Terror too much.
Trying to be
Whatever it is
I'm supposed to be.
Too much.
Prison guard and Naval torture training
Helped Daddy know
What to do with me.
Must lay out newspapers
Without vomiting.
Only then
Can I relieve
My overstressed body,
And throw up,
Violently,
Into bowls
Mommy gives me.
Drink it back down.
When I drink it back down,
And keep it down,
I can clean up my newspapers
And keep out of
Daddy's site.
Over and over.
