| Welcome to Headmistress Skies's Internet Institute of Magic! The Salem Institute is a roleplaying site based on the remarkable set of books J.K. Rowling has written. Within this site we seek to recreate the wizarding world as Rowling portrayed it by writing our own characters and having them participate in the wizarding community, most specifically at this American Wizarding school. The time line of this site flows as though Harry Potter, Voldemort, and the other characters from the books never lived. We create our own plotlines, villains, and students within the school.
