Tropical Treat Jam
You need about 3 passionfruit !

5 large apples (1 kg) 3 med pears (500g)
3 med bananas(500g), chopped 1 small pineapple, chopped
½ cup of lemon juice 11/3 cups orange juice
6 cups (1½ kg ) sugar ¼ cup passionfruit pulp

       Peel, core and chop apples and pears. Tie apple and pear cores and skins in apiece of muslin.
        Combine the apples, pears, bananas and pineapple, juices and the muslin bag in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil, and simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes or until the fruit is soft. Discard the muslin bag.
        Add the sugar, and stir over a low heat, without boiling, until all the sugar is dissolved. Bring to the boil, and boil , uncovered, without stirring, for about 1 hour, or until the jam jells when tested. Stir in the passionfruit and stand for 5 minutes, before pouring into hot sterilized jars. Seal when cold.

Makes about 8 cups
