Jam Recipes

Boysenberry Liqueur Jam

Any berry can be used for this recipe !

1 kg ( 2lbs) boysenberries 4 cups ( 1kg ) sugar
1 cup lemon juice 3 tablespoons Cointreau

       Combine the berries, sugar and juice in a large saucepan, and stir over a low heat, without boiling,  until the sugar is dissolved. Bring to the boil, and boil, uncovered, and without stirring, for about 25 minutes or until jam jells when tested. Stir in the liqueur and pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal when cold.

Makes about 5 cups
