Wiring "plug-in" for Encoding Altimeter AR850
Labeled all the wires. I typed the terminal code number with the computer, then taped the code for each terminal on each end.
Soldered the little pins that push and click into the plug.
I'm keeping both units close to each other, so the wiring loom is pretty short...
This is the "back" of the tray that the Narco 155 Transponder "slides" into, after it's slid all the way in , there's an "allen screw" hole on the Face plate...that gets turned and "seats" all the electrical connections at the rear of the unit.
Found an area to set the system up. The Alt encoder is screwed to the bottom of the back seat and the transponder sticks out from under the seat.
I can unbolt the "tray" and take the unit out if I need to.
The Transponder is mounted straight , the seat is on an angle to go over the battery.
I've sat in the seat and pushed and turned the buttons and knobs...
seems OK, I really don't have much of a choice on where to put it anyway...
Last but not least, The antenna needs to have a metalic surface with a 6" radius minimum
