Wiring "plug-in" for Encoding Altimeter AR850 |
|
Labeled all the wires. I typed the terminal code number with the computer, then taped the code for each terminal on each end. Soldered the little pins that push and click into the plug. |

I'm keeping both units close to each other, so the wiring loom is pretty short... |

This is the "back" of the tray that the Narco 155 Transponder "slides" into, after it's slid all the way in , there's an "allen screw" hole on the Face plate...that gets turned and "seats" all the electrical connections at the rear of the unit. |

Found an area to set the system up. The Alt encoder is screwed to the bottom of the back seat and the transponder sticks out from under the seat. |

I can unbolt the "tray" and take the unit out if I need to. |

The Transponder is mounted straight , the seat is on an angle to go over the battery. I've sat in the seat and pushed and turned the buttons and knobs... seems OK, I really don't have much of a choice on where to put it anyway... |

Last but not least, The antenna needs to have a metalic surface with a 6" radius minimum |
