| Claude was imported from Cornwall, United Kingdom, in September 1999, aged 16 weeks. He was bred by Janet Neil, from the highly respected Kevardhu prefix. Claude's sire is Kevardhu Fyn, who was the Italian Spinone Club of Great Britain's Dog of the Year in 1990. Claude's dam is Eng Sh Ch Kevardhu Kyva, who won Best of Breed and Group 3rd at Crufts in 2000. Claude is a lovely dog to show. His effortless movement makes up for his occasional naughtiness on the stack. Claude was titled in style, being awarded Best of Breed at the Melbourne Royal Show with one of the largest entries on record in the country. With his new handler, Robyn Rafiq, he will surely be a force to be reckoned with. Already the pair are unbeaten at breed level since joining forces in February 2002. |
