Art

Coke Bottle Penguins

*Use a 20 oz. coke bottle, label removed

* Tear black & white construction paper into little squares to cover      the coke bottle and make penguin body.

* Cut 2 wings with black construction paper

* Cut 2 feet with orange construction paper

* Cut a beak using orange construction paper

* Attach wings and feet

* Use dyed bowtie macaroni for its bow tie

* Use a Styrofoam ball (painted black) and glue to the lid for a head

* Add 2 wiggle eyes

* Finally ... add the beak.

It stands up just like a penguin!

Five Little Penguins

Five little penguins sitting on the ice.

The first one said, "Oh I feel nice."

The second one said, "I see a little chick!"

The third one said, "Oh, hide it quick."

The fourth one said, "Let's go for a swim."

The fifth one said, "Now we all dive in."

So they dove in the water, and they swam all about.

Then the five little penguins, all jumped out.
