2-26-02 - IT'S BEEN A WHILE since I've done anything to this site as I have devoted all of my time to my latest web projects, youngs-furniture.com and my personal automobile enthusiast site, tentatively named KHPCARS.com, which I have yet to get hosted.
The youngs-furniture.com site has went very smoothly and has been well received, with the only complaints coming from users of older versions of Netscape, which has encouraged me a good deal (not too bad for my first design job!).
I am very anxious to get KHP online, as I believe it is going to be the best source for automotive wallpapers on the Whole Wide Web. I have well over 800 quality wallpapers of high-performance cars at various resolutions, many of which are hard to find.
It is already approaching 200MB, so hosting is going to be expensive. Maybe I can get a sponsor.
I HOPE YOU LIKE REDESIGN. I jettisoned the black, flaming background because I didn't want my personal site to be associated with the burning flames and utter darkness of hell... But don't worry, I carried it over to my KHPCARS.com site, where I think it looks quite nice.
WELCOME TO KELWAY'S HOMEPAGE! Thank you for showing enough interest to point your browser in my direction.
I am a man of many interests, competent in many things, but a master of nothing.
I love music, but love to write it even more.
I have a huge weak spot for fine cars (although for now have to settle for cheap cars).
I love Kung-Fu movies and video games, although I try to avoid video games nowadays, in an attempt to recapture half my childhood and all of my adolescence that were wasted in front of a game console or computer.
I recently got hooked on Scuba diving and have a serious itch for a motorcycle that, curiously, arises every summer.
Oh, and did I forget to mention my three children and loving wife?
Priorities, you know... just kidding. Every thing takes a back seat to them.
Well, that's the short of it. To find out more, go to
MY BIO where I hope, you will find more than you wanted to know, through my vanity of my ramblings.
Still, if you're interested in (stalking) me, check it out.
Email Me first, to ask permission before stalking me, however.
I might not mind so much, but my wife could get pissed, and believe me, you DO NOT want that to happen (for your sake and mine).
I WANT THIS SITE to express my interests and give people a little insight into who I am. I try to be completely honest, without alienating anyone (including myself). Maybe you will see things the same way as me, maybe not. I hope we have mutual respect for each other, either way. My world has gotten extremely small, lately, and I am trying to open it up a little, as I enjoy interaction with different kinds of people. I do not think, however, that you should completely trust anyone that you know only through contact online. I could portray myself any way that I want through my writing, and you would have no clue as to what kind of person I am. That is probably the most dangerous thing about the Internet. But I think it is usually unintentional, as we all tend to see ourselves as who we would like to be, rather than who we really are. We all like to focus on the good in ourselves. The reality is that we have no way of finding out that someone has a wicked, violent temper, is a bigot, a chronic liar, or has an annoying teeth-gritting problem until you spend real-world time with them. Some things, such as prejudice, many don't even realize they have a problem with until confronted with it. In other words, virtual reality is just that; be careful.

This Website is best viewed in IE 5.5 or better.
EVERY DESIGN, LOGO, AND GRAPHIC on this site was created by me, except the car photos(I just cropped them) and copyrighted company logos.
This is my first website and I'm doing all the HTML and CSS code by hand (eg. no WYSIWYG editors), learning as I go.
All my text editing so far has been done in notepad, as I don't really have an HTML editor.
All drawings are rendered in AutoCad 2000i, then retouched and edited in
Adobe Photoshop Elements, along with all photos and animation.
I am updating the entire site to be CSS compliant, so please let me know if you find any problems.
I HAVE NOT OPTIMIZED for Netscape, and older versions of it do not support inline frames, while Opera sort of distorts the graphics a little, I think. Resolution is not a big deal, but it just doesn't look right any lower as I designed it at 1024x768.
Tell me what you think. If you like the layout of this site, let me know; I am still experimenting. Likes? Dislikes? Anyone with comments, suggestions, advice, or questions should feel free to contact me.
