Fortunately, that cost has come down to a level where the lay person is now able to receive this knowledge, though for many, even $100.00 may be a real sacrifice . I have put together my own pricing schedule that has been determined based on my own investment in the practice and the feedback I've received from my students in sharing the value they've placed on this training.
Although past practice has been to only open the student up to 25% of the power through each of 4 levels of attunement, modern practice has shifted to transferring this knowledge in 3 levels of attunement, thereby opening the student up to a higher level of power with each attunement.
Level I: $150.00
- With this level you receive the first level of the "connection to power" available to all of us from the Creator.
- This level teaches you the history of Reiki
- Gives an introduction of the chakras and what their associations are
- Introduces the student to meditation and assists in contacting at least one of your spirit guides who will be with the student throughout their Reiki "life"
- Introduces the student to the aura
- Introduces the student to the feel of the energy within each of us.
Level II: $250.00
- This is the longest class during which the student receives another level of the "connection power" as well as the first three healing symbols traditionally used in Reiki and their uses
- Learn to heal from a distance
- Learn beaming
- Learn to work with intent and affirmations
- Takes the student into more detail regarding the chakras
- Takes the student deeper into visualization meditation
- Learn to work with the aura.
Level III: $300.00
- Once again, the final level of the "connection power" is bestowed upon the student as well as the fourth and strongest healing symbol.
- The student is taught psychic surgery.
- Reviews previous two attunements and the student's experiences in the use of Reiki thus far.
- Student receives a personal healing symbol through guided meditation, which is something I began in 2000 when I was directed to do this practice with my "soul sisters" during a meditation of my own.
- Covers any problems/questions that may have been encountered and prepares the student for for attuning their own students in the future.
- I transfer my personal healing symbol to my students as my Reiki Master/Teacher for me. It was a very special gift that I did not expect and I felt it might be the same for my students, so I've chosen to continue this tradition.
- The time needed for this class is, many times, shorter than the others, depending on the students progress, but the responsibility bestowed upon any individual to follow in the practice as a Master Healer/Teacher is very serious and must be accepted as such. For that reason, the cost continues to go up, not to disuade a potential Master but to force it's value into the mind of the soon-to-be Reiki Master.
