Kaleidoscope is a group of artists who came together quite by chance through a blending of various groups and individual artists. These artists represent a variety of backgrounds and media. Please browse through our web site and explore the wide array of visual art created by Kaleidoscope artists.

Kaleidoscope presented Thou Shalt Not at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center in Clarksville, TN June through August 2005. From there, the show moved to Johnson City, TN in September 2005.


Kaleidoscope presented the show, PLAYING 'POSSUM, first at the Johnson City Area Arts Council in Johnson City, TN. The reception was on Saturday July 12, 2003 and included a live music performance and poetry readings. Click here to see pictures from the show.

Kaleidoscope showed for the second time at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center (Hand Gallery) in Clarksville,TN. The group presented PLAYING 'POSSUM from August 23 through September 30, 2003. Called "one of the museum's oddest art exhibits to date," this show appeared in the September 4th edition of Clarksville's The Leaf Chronicle.


PLAYING 'POSSUM last showed in the Rose Center in Morristown, TN in May, 2004. The show displayed in the Edith Davis Gallery.


Kaleidoscope previously presented TRANSPARENT THINGS (through which the past shines) at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center (formerly the Clarksville- Montgomery County Museum) in Clarksville, Tennessee April 28th - July 31st, 2001. TRANSPARENT THINGS was picked as the best art show of the year in the Clarksville area in the local paper, Our City, which features the "best of" every year at this time. The show was chosen from all the shows at the Customs House and Austen Peay University for the year of 2001. In addition, Kaleidoscope's Transparent Things received national recognition with an article published about the show in ART PAPERS.
