| HEY ! You're That Harmonica Dude !! Man ! I've been hearing that for years.Well,I think its time I introduced myself to you...My name is KEN HOLMES and I am,The Harmonica Dude ! I have been playing blues harmonica for about 30 years now,so I thought I would try and escape obscurity by getting a web page. I live in Jacksonville Fla. and have been playing "around" town for a very long time. Over the years it has been my privilege to have "Jammed" with most of the more popular bands in Jacksonville including "Big Engine","The Matt Rage Band" the "Roosters" "Mr.Natural" and many others. I have also enjoyed the luxury, of being invited to "sit in" with members of bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd,.38 Special and Molly Hatchett. I have been recorded on two CD's and have been the member of the bands Vagabonds Dream, Wall of Blues, and Blind Lemon Pledge.I have performed in many different places from Bronco Billy's in Key West to the stage of the Grand Ol'Opry in Nashville. My musical influences have included Sonny Boy Williamson Little Walter,James Cotton, Kim Wilson and especially Charlie Musslewhite. I play primarily Blues but I enjoy a wide variety of styles,including Rock,Country, Bluegrass,and a bit of Gospel I would be very interested in hearing from anybody who has a question or comment. thanks....
