Gracenotes can be annoying,
But be glad you don't have upbeats like the Horns :)
Improvisation is difficult,
But it pays off when playing Jazz.
Check the Key-Signature first,
And when in doubt--LOUDER--
Especially during Marching Season!
Watch the Notes,
And be most concerned with Octave jumps,
But don't forget to play with a little Pinache!
Quartertones are only in oriental music,
So you're probably just REALLY SHARP!
Trust your director,
But make sure you Understand his interpretation.
A little more Verve, Woodwinds,
And don't forget the Xylophone!
