Not long ago, I posted info about a series of Three Ingredient Cookbooks by Ruthie Wornall. Now, Ruthie has written "The Two Ingredient Cookbook," making cooking easier than ever!
"These recipes are especially helpful to people with disabilities, as well as career people and mothers, new brides, college students, and children just learning to cook," says Ruthie.
As with the original 6 books in the series, the book contains 175 recipes which are fast, easy, tasty and economical. She often prepares an entire luncheon or dinner on a local TV show in just ten minutes. An example would be Orange Chicken, wild rice, cranberry Jell-O salad, green beans and peanut butter cookies.
Previous volumes in the series include: "Three Ingredient Cookbook, Volumes I, II, and III," "Low Cholesterol Three Ingredient Cookbook," "Three Ingredient Main Dish Cookbook," and "Three Ingredient Party Cookbook."
MEXICAN DIP: Made simply by spreading an 8-oz. package of Philadelphia Cream Cheese on a plate, and then pouring your favorite kind of picante or Mexican salsa over it.
PEPSI HAM: Made from 1 cooked boneless ham, whole cloves, and 2 cans of Pepsi-Cola. (Sounds kind of weird, she agrees, but says it's very good!
PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES: Made with 1 cup chunky peanut butter, a cup of sugar, and one egg. That's ALL!
BROCCOLI RICE CASSEROLE: Made with 1 box frozen chopped broccoli, 1 cup cooked rice, and 1 jar Cheeze Whiz.
