For more than 6 players: Use all the troop cards and one extra stronghold card, or limit bids for power to four.
You may give spice to any other player at the start of the module so that they can become manager. You may keep access cards with a total value of at least 5 to be used as one ghola card in the main game.
When you are the manager harvests are increased by 50%
If more than one player ties for paying to be the first manager, you decide who it will be. If there is a tie for the second highest bidder, you decide who receives the spice from the new manager. You may block the appointment of a new manager, in which case the player to the left becomes manager. You may not block the appointment of the Fremen to manager.
RAPID ACCESS VARIANT
For those who don't have time for a full Spice Harvest:
Deal 5 cards to each player.
Atreides - Take one card at random from one player and replace it with one of your cards
Bene Gesserit - You may look at one player's entire hand before deciding what to do.
Emperor - Draw one extra access card.
Fremen - Draw a harvest card. If it is a worm, draw one extra access card.
Guild - You may select one card randomly from one player and discard it.
Harkonnen - Take two extra access cards. Draw from the harvest deck. If it is a worm, you must discard three cards.
Ix - One troop card may count 1.5 times for troops or spice. You must state which before allocations are revealed.
Landsraad - Collect one spice from each player who converts troop cards into spice.
Tleilaxu - You may keep access cards with a total value of 5 or more to use as one ghola card in the main game.
