| If my eyes were your eyes just what would I see As I stand there gazing at the person that is me? A person of Godly mind and soul? Someone who is seeking the Masters control? Would it be as a sunrise that would bring tears to my eyes Or perhaps a sunset that dares the light to shine? What if I were talking to the person who has my sight Would my mouth be moving and speaking things that are right? Would words from within be swords that slice, That tear through harmony like a hot butter knife? What if my eyes saw me somewhere? Would I see actions of a person who didn't care? Would my life be depicting the steps of my Lord? Would my way be in line with the truths of his word? Yes, this is a question that haunts ones like me If my eyes were your eyes just what would I see? |
