“Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest . . . I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children: But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments. For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee . . . Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.” (Isa. 47:8-12)

The days of calamity have come upon us!!  Our nation has been delivered unto them that hate us!  Oh God, how long shall thy people lay dormant?  How long shall they which call upon thee do nothing?  A nation cannot be brought to naught because of evil men’s wickedness, but by righteous men which do nothing.

Americans were shaken out of sleep by the news of a catastrophe.  Our nation was rocked by the crumbling of two of the world’s tallest buildings as well as the destruction of a part of the pentagon.  As I watched the news and heard the analysis, I found myself crying streams of tears for those that met their day of judgment.  Yet, within me there was a spirit of joy, one that I became more and more aware of.  Why was it of joy and not, as my flesh felt, that of great remorse?  Then it came!  As from the throne of God, “in their affliction they will seek me early”(Hosea 5:15).  Behold America, we have been warned and we have been warned again, but have we turned.  NO!  We have continued in sin, we have shaped our minds in wickedness.  There is but one thing that can save us now.  “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (II Chr. 7:14).  Yet, as it has been since the days of Israel, God’s people will only seek him in affliction.  We seem to think that in times of plenty that we have done these things and not God.  We place ourselves as the creator and not Jesus Christ.

If you don’t think that these events have a spiritual meaning, then look at the signs.  The two symbols of the world's money (the thing that humans have worshiped for far too long and accounted as their God) were destroyed.  The hub of America’s defense was attacked without warning.  As the prophet of old once spoke, I too, see the hand of God in the sky, but unto him it was tidings of good things, a blessings upon man.  I fear that this is the hand of vengeance, and not of blessings.  Behold the days come, yea and are now, that time for repentance draweth to a close.  Seek him ye people, deliver your hearts unto the God of all things.  For indeed “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man . . . All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them  . . . The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation . . . I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.  The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.  Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD . . . The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.  This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.  This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Ps. 118:8-24).
