Welcome to "Sharing His Treasures"
So many Christian teens fail to realize the impact that our daily lives have on others around.  To often we justify the sinful deeds we allow our members to do by saying, ”No one will ever see, and this one little thing doesn’t matter anyway."  We could not be more wrong. ”Know ye not, that to whom ye yield YOURSELVES servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey." (Rom. 6:16)  No matter how often we go to church, pay tithes and offerings, or say “Amen” when the preacher shouts, if we are not living a life holy and acceptable unto God (Rom. 12:1) we are the savants of sin unto death. (Rom. 6:16)

Christians must remember that the eyes and ears of the world are upon us continually.  Every day.  Seeing, hearing, and taking to heart the things we do and say.  Even beyond that ”The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous."(Ps 34:15)  God is watching us, too!!  When we think we are alone in our rooms, in our cars, or at school; God is always watching to see who is His and who is not.  We must strive, ever continually, by and through the mighty name of Jesus Christ, to be ”Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matt. 5:48)  Christians must learn that God is IN us as we daily live, ”even" Paul stated, ”in thy mouth, and in thy heart:" (Rom. 10:8)
Christ told us plainly to, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)  Christ did not say to let our lights shine only on Sunday , He said ”before men."  Every day in their sight.  We are given a commission by God to minister unto the lost souls of this sinful world.  We meet many people in our every day life, still there are more that we will never talk to.  Yet all of these people see us and how we live our daily lives.  We can minister to hundreds of people each day, the cashier that gives us to much change, the neighbor that sees us work in our back yard, the people we meet at school.  In all of these instances we have the ability to show forth the gospel of Christ, to let others see and hear that we are the true Christians that Christ, through the apostle Paul, told us to be.  He instructed us to, ”be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."  (I Tim. 4:12)

Fleshly desires have always been sinful and as long as God is (and that’s eternal) they will be.  As the children of Light, we must learn to set no wicked thing before our eyes. (Ps. 101:3 ) Christ said in Matt. 6:22-23 that, ”The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!"  God wants his people to realize that their PHYSICAL and spiritual eyes must be on one thing only, singleness in sight, seeing only what Christ wants and desires.  We cannot profess with our lips the truth of God, yet still with our fruits profess the ungodliness of this sinful world.  ”For ALL that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the LUST OF THE EYES, and the pride of life, is not of the Father.” (I John 2:16)

So, to all those watching eyes and listing ears, whether they’re the person we meet but once in a life time, the relative that visits once a year, or the friend we meet every day at school; whoever they are let us (through the way we act, talk, and look) show forth Christ’s gospel, Christ’s message, and Christ’s word.  That is the reason we are here on this earth in the first place, to give glory, honor, and praise continually to the only true and wise God, our High Priest Jesus Christ.
