| JESUS IS . . . |
| I am not always good — but Jesus is. I am not always faithful — but Jesus is. I am not always strong — but Jesus is. I am not always available — but Jesus is. I am not always patient — but Jesus is. I am not always humble — but Jesus is. I cannot always win the battle — but Jesus can. I cannot always feel the pain of my fellow man — but Jesus can. I cannot always tell a lie from the truth — but Jesus can. I cannot always focus my attention on the important things — but Jesus can. I couldn't love my neighbor more than myself — but Jesus did. I couldn't heal the sick — but Jesus did. I couldn't write the Bible — but Jesus did. I couldn't save my soul — but Jesus did. Jesus is not my excuse to be weak. Because He can, is, and did things that I can never totally attain, doesn't not give me a license to commit wrong or be weaker than is necessary. He is my example to be strong. Though He is what I can never attain, Jesus is what I will strive to become. |
