| Jimi chose us and we are so glad she did. We were out to meet birds as we had not ever had a bird before. When we met Jimi, we knew our search was over. At 4 months, Jimi was very friendly and wanted to be picked up by everyone who walked by. But when she ran up my daughter Elyssa's arm and gave her a kiss, we knew we had been chosen. Jimi knew "step up" very well and has been a perfect first bird. She is so happy and begs to be picked up by moving her wings in kind of a wiggle. She gives kisses on demand. Jimi knows how to say, "what", and "good night" which she says every night at bedtime. |
