Nancy Spungen was a famous groupy who became involved with Sid Vicious (of the Sex Pistols). Nancy was originally thought to have been murdered by Sid, who died himself of a drug overdose later. However, many of their contemporaries insist that Sid wasn't capable of murder and certainly would never have killed Nancy. Popular thought among friends and family seems to be that she confronted a robber who stabbed her in desperation.
