Alec stood stunned. Asha sipped at her drink uncomfortably, she hadn’t realised that Alec would take the news this badly.
“Your picking the computer geek over me?” Alec’s huge ego had just received a fatal blow.
“I’m sorry Alec… but you and I just don’t work. I really love Logan but I hope we can still be friends…” Asha got up from the table at Crash and left.
Alec was still in shock. He had just been given the *we can still be friends* speech. That was HIS line! Why on earth would Asha want Logan? The truth was that he had been planning to break up with her that very evening… but *he* was supposed to be doing the dumping. This wasn’t about love anymore… this was war.
“Sorry Logan… I never loose.”

“How can you do this to me?” Max said angrily. “I waited till we got that damn virus killed, and now your leaving me for Barbie?”
“Max… I care about you so much. But I can’t help the way I feel… I’m so sorry but—”
“Save it! I’m leaving, you’ll never have to see me again! Goodbye!” Max stormed out Logan’s apartment and slammed the door behind her. Why didn’t he just drive a knife through her heart? It would have been a lot less painful… Just as she got on her bike she saw someone enter Logan’s building. Asha.
“I knew it… he likes blondes.”
Max couldn’t let Asha have Logan… she needed to clear her head… to go somewhere peaceful, where she could think… Crash!

Alec emptied his 5th glass…he had to get Asha back! It was a matter of personal pride… dignity! I mean loosing to another X5 would have been acceptable, but loosing to Logan? That was just embarrassing! He had to win her over, but he couldn’t do it alone… he needed help… he needed—
“Max! I was just thinking about you—”
“Shut up Alec,” Max said moodily.
“Ah., I take it you heard the bad news.”
“Asha break up with you too?”
“Her loss,” Alec replied coolly.
“I don’t know if I can handle seeing them together all the time! I-I don’t want her to have Logan!” Max stated.
“Well… I want Asha, and you want Logan. I think we could come up a few ways of keeping them apart…”
