| Title: Fuel Author: Priscilla Chapter 7 Leon awoke with a smile plastered on his face and instinctively rolled over on the bed, reaching for Evelyn. He got mattress. Opening one eye and then the other, he noticed that she was not in the room, the clothes that they'd discarded the night before neatly folded on the chair next to the window. Leon pulled his boxers on and walked barefoot to the kitchen, instantly hit with the aroma and warmth of cooking radiating from the large room. Walking into the kitchen, what he saw made a shit eating grin spread broadly across his features. Evelyn stood in front the stove dressed in the shirt he'd had on last night and nothing else, making bacon and eggs. His kitchen table was already covered with a pitcher of orange juice, toast on a plate, and two plates pilled high with pancakes still steaming from the stove. Leon walked further into the kitchen and walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her slender waist. Evelyn jumped at the sudden contact. "Leon, you scared the crap out of me baby. Good morning." She said smiling up at him and giving him a kiss. "Can't leave you alone for two seconds huh? What is all of this?" Leon asked smiling, wildly gesturing with his arms to his table. Mia had always had breakfast ready by the time he woke up while he was at Dom's but never specifically for him. Evelyn laughed at his enthusiastic reaction to her making breakfast. "What do you mean 'What is this?' It's breakfast, unless you're not hungry." She said nervously, hoping she hadn't overstepped her bounds with him. "No! No, I love it. It's just I've never had anyone other than Mia cook for me, it almost feels weird." He explained and they both laughed. Evelyn made him sit down at the table and placed a large plate of eggs, bacon, and pancakes with syrup in front of him and then set a tall glass of freshly squeezed orange juice next to it. Leon looked down at the large assortment and grinned up at her. "Where have you been all my life woman?" He asked jokingly. Pulling Evelyn on his lap. They ate together that way until Leon got up to go to his workout room while Evie did the dishes. When she was done, Evelyn explored the upstairs of the house. What intrigued her the most as she looked around his bed room was the fact that he only had one yellowing, faded picture of his parents and the rest of the walls were mostly covered by a group of people she didn’t know. About a half an hour later Evelyn walked down to the basement where Leon’s workout room was. A high-pitched gasp escaped her parted lips when she saw a glistening, bronze colored Leon on the floor doing crunches. The muscles in his tight stomach clenching and releasing with each up and down movement of his torso. He smiled when he noticed she was in the room. Slowly, he walked over to where she was, still in his shirt, hair in a sloppy ponytail...he couldn’t remember when he’d been more in love with someone. “You need a shower mister.” Evelyn teased as he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her forehead. Leon smiled down at her. “So do you.” He said taking her hand in his, “Let’s go clean up.” He said with a mischievous little grin on his face as he led her up the stairs. Once upstairs, Leon set the water to warm before they both started to undress. Inside the shower Evelyn the let warm spray wash down her body, then she started to massage the shampoo into her hair. She was aware of Leon’s presence but thought that he must be really tired because he wasn’t trying to touch her or anything. When Evelyn reached for the soap, the shampoo went in her eyes temporarily blinding her, causing her to grab onto anything to prevent her from falling. Her hand ended up resting on a smooth, hard bicep. “Looking for this?” Leon asked breathily. Evelyn nodded her head like an idiot and reached for the soap in his hand. As soon as her hand touched his though, he used his other arm to push her body closer to his until they were nose to nose. Then he leaned down and gave her the most intense, toe curling, passionate kiss Evelyn ever had the pleasure of having. He moved his hands up and down her slick, wet body. Then he stopped and looked at her taking the soap from her hand. Evelyn watched as he lathered up his hands and started rubbing them all over her skin. He was bathing her. “Look at me.” Leon whispered in her ear and Evelyn obeyed. She felt herself being lifted up and her back placed firmly against the glass shower wall. Watched as Leon lifted his head and met her eyes. He brought his middle finger up to his luscious mouth and wet it with his tongue. Then his hand traveled in between their bodies where he slowly entered his finger inside her moist cavern. Evie gasped but brought her hips up to nudge against his hand. Leon raised his eyebrow at her bluntness. “You wanna go already?” He asked as he removed his buried finger. Evelyn nodded her head briefly and moaned all over again as he entered her fully. She closed her eyes to the sensations he was causing and soon they were both coming in long hot throbs. ************************** Later on in the day, Leon had convinced Evelyn to finally get out of bed and get dressed because he wanted to take her to meet someone. He was being very secretive about where they were going, but he kept reassuring her that she'd love "The Team", whoever they were. When they stopped in front of a house that looked like a slightly bigger, light blue version of Leon's, Evelyn turned her questioning gaze on his amused one. Leon nodded an "it will be alright if you just trust me" nod and got out of the car to open her door. He took her hand as he led her to the porch and up the steps to the front door. He knocked loudly three times and then a black haired woman with Spanish features and beautifully curved red lips opened the door. She smiled broadly when she noticed it was Leon. "Long time no see Leon, where you been babe?" Letty asked, leaning on the doorframe. "I've been home girl, you gonna let me in or what Letty?" He asked jokingly. Letty didn't answer his question, just moved aside to allow him access into the house still grinning. That's when she noticed Evelyn, who looked just about ready to pee her pants when she noticed Letty staring at her. Time seemed to stop still for Evie, with those large ebony eyes burning a hole through her head it seemed and then, never taking her eyes off Evelyn, the woman... Letty, yeah that was her name, spoke. "Who's that?" She asked, raking her eyes up and down Evelyn's body, intimidatingly taking in her appearance. Evelyn felt completely underdressed in her navy blue bell-bottoms and her white baby doll t-shirt and squirmed under the intensity of her discomfort. Leon put his arms around her shoulders and smiled at Letty's over protectiveness of him. Some things never change. He thought. "Letty, this is Evelyn, she's my girl. Evelyn this is Letty, she's one of my best friends and part of the team." Leon explained hoping the introduction would make Letty want to back off. "Where's everybody else?" Leon asked looking into the kitchen and seeing it was deserted. "Mia and Brian are on the beach setting dinner up on the picnic table." Letty said seemingly more at ease with Evelyn's presence. "And Dom?" Leon prodded. Letty's face fell immediately, sobs racking her body. Leon let go of Evelyn's hand and rapidly made it to Letty before she could fall on her knees to the floor in midst of her agony. "That asshole. How could he even think it? How could he leave us?" She asked him, tears streaking her face. "What happened?" Leon asked, shocked at her abrupt reaction. "He we--" Letty stopped mid-word when she noticed that Evie was still in the room, a worried expression on her face. "You can tell me later, Let. C'mon how about we go outside and grab some grub?" Leon said pulling Letty to her feet and walking her over to the back door, signaling for Evelyn to follow. There was tanned girl with waist long hair setting up plates and arranging food around a large white picnic table. A blond man with features that could only be described as beautiful stood at the grill, barbequing chicken. They both looked up from their tasks and smiled at the approaching trio. "Hey guys I wanna introduce you to someone. This is Evelyn. Evelyn this is Mia and Brian." Leon said smiling proudly as the three shook hands and greeted each other. A few minutes later, they all sat around the table with their plates piled high with food, joking and laughing and getting to know each other. Evelyn fell immediately at ease with all of them, even Letty. She looked around at most of Leon's "team" and realized something. She wanted to be part of it. Of this... kinship that hung around them as apparent as a cloud. ************************ Dominic paced up and down the 26th floor of the Ramada Inn in Manhattan. He was still reeling from the slap Letty had given him when he told her about his plans to become partners with Frank Sloan. They'd argued for the most part of an hour. She didn't like the fact that this guy was a mobster and that he was pulling all the strings. He couldn't see why she was so against it, this was for all of them, for his family. "He's a powerful rich man Dom, and powerful rich men get away with murder." She'd told him before slamming the door in his face. The problem was that even though business was Ok with the garage in Mexico there were still things that needed taking care of. Mia had put her plans of going to college aside because of what happened in LA. He wanted to see his sister be the first in the family to graduate. Another problem was the payments on the house they lived in, which was not completely paid for and let's not mention Jesse and Vince, he could practically see the cops breathing down their necks.... "Dominic Torreto, nice to see you again my friend." A voice rich in a New Yorker accent broke into Dom's train of thought. Dom turned around to get a look at who he assumed to be Frank Sloan and locked eyes with the two no-neck mountain of muscles at his sides. Dom smirked and extended his hand towards Frank's outstretched arm. "How you doin' Frankie?" Dom asked smiling. Frank snorted through his nose and smiled back. "I feel like shit, but what the hell, let's go inside and talk." Dom nodded his head and followed his new business partner, the one that would help him get his family back together, into his expensive suite. Title: FUEL Author: Priscilla Chapter 8 Dominic pulled his red Jetta up to the front of the house and let out a long sigh. Had he done the right thing? He thought he'd had, but he'd tried to call Letty five times while he was in New York and as soon as she'd pick up the phone and hear his voice she would hang up without a second's warning. Yeah, it pissed him off, but he knew that what she was doing was out of fear and maybe a little spite for the fact that again he had completely eliminated her from the decision making process. His short stay with Frank Malone had been very informative. The man owned half on Mexico's government officials. The coffee business he owned had been passed down to him from his father and his father before that. The only thing that perplexed Dom somewhat was the hardness that overtook the man's face when he'd asked if that was all he specialized in. Frank's precise attempt to steer the conversation away from that area had been blatant, so he'd dropped it.....for now. Dom stepped onto the semi-dusty porch steps and sighed again.......Letty's gonna kick my ass. He thought as he walked into the living room expecting to find it packet and instead finding the complete opposite. Not a familiar face in sight. He walked through the kitchen and onto the backyard porch looking out over the expanse of beach that was now his home, when his eyes focused on the team, and he noticed with satisfaction that they seemed to be okay. He walked silently up to the group, his mind's gears working to decipher the stranger among them. She had long dark brown hair, wonderfully creamy skin, long slender legs peeking from baggy shorts and baby doll t-shirt. Dominic instinctively licked his lips as his eyes moved up and down Evelyn's curveatious body. Just as Mia turned around to hit Brian upside the head for a smartass remark, she caught sight of Dom and ran to him enveloping him into a bear hug. Dom wrapped his arms around his sister and kissed her forehead, temporarily snapping his eyes away from the exotic beauty in their midst. Evelyn turned around to see what all the fuss was about as she saw Leon plant his hand on Brain’s shoulder to get his attention at the new arrival. When she turned, her breath caught in her throat. Wearing a mahogany colored Armani suit that seemed to have been specially tailored for his size, a blindingly white dress shirt under it and what seemed like Italian styled loafers, he looked absolutely delicious. His head clean shaven, skin seemingly glowing from the sun’s rays. He was the epidemy of male; it radiated off him in waves, a sense of strength, power, dominance and an undeniable sense of animalistic masculinity. Evelyn blushed when she realized she had been gawking at him and turned her face away. Leon grabbed her hand from her lap and made her stand up with him, smiling down at her. He hadn’t noticed her drooling over Dom. As they slowly walked towards where Mia, Brian, and Dominic were standing Evelyn’s heart seemed to quicken its pulse with each step. Evelyn Sloan, stop it this instant, you don’t even know this man.... Evelyn scolded herself. “Yo Dom!” Leon rasped happily as he hugged the big man smiling all the while. Dominic was happy to see Leon this content, but then he would be happy too if he had a woman that looked like his did. What the fuck are you saying Dominic? All of a sudden Letty’s blown out of the water? Shit, this is gonna be hell. Dominic berated himself, but the smile never faltered on his face as he regarded Leon. “Who’s this?” He asked in an eerily convincing, nonchalant voice. Leon’s smile only widened as he wrapped his left arm around Evelyn’s waist. “Dom this is Evelyn, Evelyn this is Dominic Torreto.” He said introducing the two. Evie smiled warmly up at him as she replied a courteous “Nice to meet you” up to Dominic’s smiling face. Dominic found that all sense of self was lost as soon as his eyes met her beautiful hazel ones, he immediately licked his lips again as his eyes went a little lower and landed on her rosy lips....SHIT. Leon watched the exchange with a smile at first, Evelyn was finally meeting Dominic. She must have been going crazy from all he talked about him, stories of their childhood delinquencies and how their fleeting friendship had turned into an undeniable brotherhood. But he didn’t like the way Dominic was holding Evelyn’s gaze or her hand in his. It was a possessive gesture and he’d seen that look before many times. Leon’s features darkened as Dominic finally let go of Evelyn’s and turned it back towards his face. Evelyn turned her head to look at what could possibly make Leon so tense against her, her brows knitted together in confusion as she looked back and forth between the two men, both jaws clenched, hazel green eyes locked on chocolate brown, unblinking. What the hell was going on? Finally, Letty’s voice broke the tension consuming them by replacing it with her own as she stopped two feet in front of Dominic. Dominic turned to her, half expecting her to punch him, slap him, spit on him or all three. So he started before she could get a word out. “Let. I, ah, I don’t want this--” Letty cut him off by wrapping her small arms around his waist, resting her head on his chest. “Shhh, it’s okay baby, I’m just glad you’re okay.” Letty mumbled into his chest. Everyone but Evelyn looked shocked as hell watching the exchange.....what just happened??? The trance-like moment was broken when Brian yelled “Let’s eat!” from his place at the grill. When everyone was seated, Dom at the head of the table with Letty to his left and Mia to his right. Brian was next to Mia and Evelyn was to his right. Leon faced Dom from the end of the table. But there was something that seemed weird to Evelyn. Nobody was reaching for any of the food, they were all looking around the table at each other with goofy grins on their faces. Evelyn turned her confused look towards Leon who just smiled and said “Later.” meaning he would explain after dinner. Dominic let out an exasperated sigh. “Fine, you bunch of freaggin wimps, I’ll say grace.” He said and everyone at the table let out a relieved breath. Following the other’s lead Evelyn folded her hands in front of her and closed her eyes, awaiting the short prayer. “Dear heavenly father, thank you for providing us with the port nitrus injections, intercoolers, the imported parts from Japan and all that other sh-” “Dom!” Mia shrieked at what she thought he was gonna say. “-stuff, amen.” Dominic finished with a small smile playing his lips. Evelyn started giggling uncontrollably at what had just happened. Of course they wouldn’t say a normal grace, nothing about these people was normal. It seemed her laugher was contagious and everyone seemed to be catching it. All but Dom who just smiled, letting his mind go to a place where there was no loyalty to Leon, no tying emotions to Letty, she didn’t even exist in this world, where he could do exactly what he wanted: to place Evelyn on her back on top of this table and fuck her senseless. Dom snapped back to reality when Letty slapped his shoulder and smilingly said “Let’s eat some grub papi.” |
