Chapter 17
He was sure of that. He had been her first and damn it he would be her ONLY! He ran a hand over his stubbled head as he remembered that first time. He had snuck her up to his room so Mia wouldn't see. It had started out as just a make out session, which always left him wanting more. He didn't mean to get carried away. When Letty didn't stop him he couldn't stop himself. She was an incredible kisser and kept nipping at his bottom lip. It drove him nuts! She didn't protest when his hands slid under her shirt or when he pulled it off of her. They'd only ever gone that far before. He'd really meant to stop before anything else happened. He really had. He was a man of restraint or at least he had been until he pulled away from Letty and she made a sound that he could only describe as a disappointed growl.
After that, all good intentions flew out the window along with her bra and several other items of clothing that they had ripped off each other in their haste to get naked. He had meant to go slow. He had tried not to hurt her but Letty was tighter than the Hoover Damn and he wasn't a small man in the family jewels department. He knew he had to be hurting her at least a little. When he was completely inside her, he had looked into Letty's face. She had her eyes screwed shut. Then, when he started to move in and out of her, she transformed in a wildcat right before his eyes.
Her eyes locked onto his. Her nails dug deeply into his shoulders, back and ass. She ground her hips against his and matched him thrust for thrust. Geezus, Letty was made for sex! She was a natural and she came hard that first time. Dom had to put his hand over her mouth to keep her quiet while she screamed his name. All he needed was Mia banging on his bedroom door while he was banging Letty! She went still and her mouth latched onto his. Dom was still moving over her when she raised her legs up around his waist and pushed up off the bed one last time thrusting her tongue into his mouth simultaneously. He'd gone off like a rocket and collapsed on top of her. When he finally rolled off, Letty curled into a little ball beside him and went to sleep with a satisfied cat-like grin on her face. He congratulated himself on a job well done and went to sleep himself.
He woke up the next morning wrapped around Letty's little finger and her lush body. Letty snuggled against him and he figured why not put his morning wood to good use. He had just started to wake her up when the phone rang. It was followed by a knock on his door. Mia! Shit!
"Letty, I know you're in there! Your dad called but don't worry, I covered for you. And Letty, I hope you made him work for it!" Dom could hear Mia laughing as she walked down the hall.
So that had been that. The team got used to them slipping off for quickies and every guy in town knew that Letty was strictly off limits. Property of Dominic Toretto. Nobody messed with that! And while Dom looked, he never touched (well except that time with Tran's sister) and Letty took pleasure in chasing away any skank that might have been flashing Dom her_smile.
Dom almost laughed out loud thinking about Letty's possessiveness. Then he heard it. A soft, muffled sound. Erratic gasping coming from_his room. Letty was crying in her sleep.
Dom had finally fallen asleep. Letty tiptoed into the living room. She took a blanket out of the closet and covered him with it. Dom snuggled into it immediately as it had gotten cool in the room. Letty went and got back into Dom's bed alone. Dom lay asleep on the couch wrapped up in the plush blanket dreaming of Letty.

Chapter 18
They were on the beach by 10 am. Vince and Leon hooked up with a couple of hot, Swedish tourists and promised to write. Dom figured they would show up again in a day or so. Bryan and Mia had quickly stripped down to their suits and headed into the bright blue water. He and Letty were left on the beach. Alone. Together. He spread out their towels and plopped down. Letty wasn't speaking to him. In fact she was ignoring him completely. She pulled off her oversized t-shirt. Leave it to Letty to where a bikini. This was obviously a woman who was proud of her pregnant body.
Letty laid next to Dom letting the morning sun warm her. The baby was always active in the morning and Letty ran her hands over her belly poking back when the baby kicked. It was their own private little game of tag. She hoped Dom realized what he would be missing out on if he didn't testify. The baby kicked again and she poked the little thing back. She didn't know if the baby was a boy or a girl but she had a name picked out. A good name.
Dom watched Letty out of the corner of his eye. Damn! She looked goooood. It wasn't wrong to have sexual thoughts about the mother of your child was it? Were all pregnant women this sexy or was it just Letty? Dom itched to touch her. He knew she put the blanket over him last night. She always did that. Even when she was pissed off to the extreme at him, she still fretted over him. Letty was going to be a wonderful mother.
"Letty?"
"Mmmm_?"
"What happens if you go into labor down here?" The thought scared the hell out of him.
"I'm rich, Dom. My private OB-GYN is flying in today. She's booked into the La Playa Resort. She's getting a free vacation and will be around and on call 24-7 just in case."
"Smart idea."
"Tell Bryan. It was his."
"Really? He and Mia are doing good?"
"Yes, they are doing very well. They're very happy."
"What about you, Letty?"
"What about me, Dom?"
"How are you?"
"Geez, let's see Dom, I'm 23 unmarried, knocked up and unemployed for the most part. Luckily I'm sitting on a shitload of money so I don't really have to worry about it. I am scared shitless about having this baby and about whether or not I'm gonna be raising it alone, so to answer your question, Dominic. No I am not good and I haven't been happy since you left." Letty let it all come out.
"I'm sorry Letty."
"You should be Dom"
"I love you."
"Yeah, yeah_"
"Letty, I'll do it. Anything you want. I'll do it."
She wasn't sure if she believed him. "I wanna go home, Dom and I want you to come with me. I want to show you the nursery that Mia and I fixed up and more than anything I wanna wake up with you in that stupid double bed. That's what I want. That's all." Letty never looked at him while she spoke.
Dom took it all in. After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence, he replied, "When do you want to leave?"
From the water where they played, Bryan and Mia watched Dom and Letty. One minute they were side by side lying in the sun perfectly still. The next they lay face to face making out like a couple of horny teenager. Mia silently thanked God for answering her prayers.
