At the begginig of the sixties, the rock had a stop. Many events happened during the late fifties/eraly sixties made us think rock and roll was over: Elvis was listed in the army, Jerry Lee Lewis married his 14 year old cousin (What a scandal!), Chuck Berry is in jail, Buddy Holly died in a plane accident in 1959...What would happen to Rock and Roll?...It was just a temporal fever and the new are this soft ballad teen singers? |

Folk is a genre whose best representant is Bob Dylan. Anothers are Joan Baez and Jerry Mc Guire. They sing about people problems, urban life, routine,the injustice of goverment. They sing our protest song. They're the population voice. |
