Ever wanted to be a badass Brigand reigning terror in the mountains & forests of Spielburg? Me too lol!
Quest For Infamy was a great little project I followed for many years as the team over at Infamous Adventures had the brilliant idea of you returning to QFG1’s Spielburg as a villain playing as either a Brigand, Assassin, or Evil Sorcerer to complete new quests, adventures and cause all sorts of mayhem lol! Much like the QFG4.5 project, QFI’s Spielburg valley would be much expanded with new areas past the mountains including a new town Volksville for you to explore and commit your crimes. ;)

Unfortunately the project became a little too ambitious for the small & busy team to accomplish and they decided to apply their time and resources to the brilliant Hero of Infamous Kingdoms and their Kings Quest 3 & Space Quest 2 remakes instead. The end result being Infamous Adventures is now considered one of the major AGS fan game studios along with AGD Interactive and Crystal Shard Games.

Very little Quest For Infamy material was ever released to the public until recently when the team saw my website and decided to present some of their early old work to all their fans. It’s a little rough around the edges especially compared to the graphics of their more recent amazing remake projects but every great fan game studio had to start somewhere and who knows, maybe one day as ‘old men’ they’ll apply their veteran game making skills to their old labour of love QFI and us fans in our ‘old age’ will get to enjoy this excellent idea for a QFG fan game while our kids are playing in the holodeck lol! :)

Updates:
• In June 2012 our wish became true! Last year the team at IA secretly resumed work on their old labour of love Quest For Infamy and have created their own Kickstarter Page to ensure it gets done! They have totally revamped the game taking it out of the QFG universe and into its own where a different and even more badass looking anit-hero gets up to no good in the quiet town of Volksville!
Along with the Kickstarter they have also released a cool trailer video (see below) and a awesome demo where you can explore Volksville and talk with its NPCs, you can even go outside and explore some of the game's beautiful forest region containing enemies to fight! It gives me great pleasure to restore this project to ACTIVE status on my list! :) Go try the demo (link below) right NOW!!
