Hero of Infamous Kingdoms is a great little fan game created in 2005 as an April fools joke on the AGS/QFG community. What makes it so special is that most of the leading quest game studios at the time got together to form Silver Sphinx Studios and whipped up this game in only 1 month, even with voice acting! The crème of the crop of fan talent worked on the game. So now all these years later its rather bittersweet to play since it showcases the brilliant artwork from fan projects that are nearly all long dead now. An interesting point is that the locations where it says ‘some unfinished game’ appear to be little tributes to the Quest For Glory 2 Remake project. I’ve only just completed QFG2 VGA so I instantly recognised them both as the Raseir Parrot Inn and Harlem! You will also see backgrounds, characters, and music from the successful Kings Quest 3 VGA remake & Tale of Two Kingdoms, and the unfortunately doomed Hero6 Project, Project Katrina, Mirror of Dreams, & Quest for Infamy.
