This is the Only photograph that I have taken in the summer of 1988 when I first got GABBY. I am with my two girls both named after my Grandmothers. As children we never had a "Gramma" but we had a "Mimi" & a "Gabby"On the left is my MIMI , a splendid Tortie persian who was with me from 1984 -2000.Gabby is only a few months old in this photo of us. She came to me from Jeanne Ramsdale of the DEARHEART Persians.Jeanne was the Author of PERSIAN CATS & OTHER LONGHAIRS.I still have my signed copy of this book which I cherish. Gabby was my foundation girl who was the beginning of all my breedings ! I do not think there could have ever been a Sweeter girl. She talked non-stop and used her paws to tell us what she wanted. In the beginning Gabby was my Sweet Girl, but over the years she turned into a Daddy's Girl. As she grew older her Love for my husband Roy was unbeliveable....he only had to Talk to her and she would put up her Paw & Purr ! They spent almost Every Day together for the last three years and he was completely devoted to her. Her memory will live on forever in the Preciouspet lines that I have established with her Great Grandaughter Preciouspet Breezy.

PRESERVING THE DEARHEARTS!
For anyone who has been around the breeding world awhile, you would know that the Wonderful DEARHEART lines have almost become extinct. With the sad passing of Jeanne & her husband, the next generations were lost to a horrific fire. Very few true Dearhearts remained. One of the reasons my Gabby was so dear to me. Imagine my surprise to find that there are indeed true lines left and that wonderful people in SanFransisco are working to Preserve the Dearheart lines. These are the Traditional Doll Face Chinchilla & Shaded Silvers. For the most part they do not do well at the shows. The judges do prefer the Flatter more extreme face and make showing these beauties very difficult. Pictured above is the latest from L'Dearheart Cattery .! What a Gorgeous boy...L'Dearhearts MichaelAngelo. If you would like to see more about the Preservation of the Dearheart lines or adoptions please visit: www.dearheartpersians.com
