| The path to Preciouspet began as a DREAM many years ago when I purchased my first Registered Silver Persian from Jeanne Ramsdale who had the delightful Dearhearts. Gabby was our foundation girl .Gabby passed away in the summer of 2005 and we miss her spirit so much. My true love was always that of the Silver Persian, but due to my location and early days without a computer, I ended up breeding Himalayans and solids.I eventually found my way to the Silvers and am now so proud to be associated with the Cedar Swamp Persians. My heartfelt thanks goes out to Wilma . There have been many trials and tribulations along the way, always learning the hardway was difficult. Nowadays things are different with the internet and so many wonderful people to mentor me. The health of all of our Precious Pets is a priority. We breed only DNA tested PKD negative cats.. Our cattery is FeLV & FIV negative.All of our pets come with written genetic health guarantees and completely vaccinated. We are a CFA APPROVED CATTERY OF EXCELLENCE. |
| Our cattery is devoted to the health and happiness of our babies. For the most part they run loose in the house and enjoy lots of love and are spoiled beyond belief. Most of my friends and family are always saying that if they could be re-incarnated they would come back as one of my cats.! We have a split nursery where Mom and babies stay during the night, and a separate section of the house for my "Main Man" to stay and play when the girls go into heat. We have window boxes, perches and posts galore. We built a great enclosure on our deck for everyone to play in and enjoy the fresh air. Our house is on a lake with many different birds and butterflies for the gang to watch. Which they spend many hours doing. The Playpen as we call it, is 12' x 16' on a deck raised 4' above the ground. The sides of the pen are plexiglass with the top half screen. The roof is 8' of plywood with another 4' section of plexi so that they can look up at the sky and get so much more natural light. I try to encourage new parents to come to our home to pick out their babies, but due to our remote location sometimes shipping is available. |

| Twenty years ago, my husband Roy was a "dog" man,today we do not have even one dog.... He loves and cares for all of our cats as his children. Without him my dreams would not be possible.Above is a "typical" morning breakfast, one never dines alon in our home ! Due to health reasons we are able to be at home with our babies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the summer of 2006 my Mother moved in with us and now the babies all have Grandma here to spoil them even more.! |
